Title:

Marketing Intern

Accountable to: Marketing Director & Special Events Coordinator
Major Objectives: Is responsible for assisting the marketing and public relations team of Pfac.
Education: High school degree, with at least two years of undergraduate college education.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of art, research techniques, and marketing principles.
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel required, Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker preferred, but not required).
  • Strong oral and written skills.
  • Desire to learn about marketing and public relations and contribute to the Center’s success.
  • Photography skills desirable.
  • Flexible, positive attitude and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist Marketing Director in drafting, preparing and distributing monthly calendar of events, press releases, public service announcements, and promotional packages.
  • To assist in the design of invitations, newsletters, and other printed materials produced for Pfac.
  • To work on special research projects as directed by the Marketing Director.
  • To assist the Marketing Director and Special Events Coordinator with the organization and execution of special events.
  • To compile and prepare photographic images for publication.
  • To research, update and maintain the Center’s media and email lists.

2. Resume with two references
3. Two letters of recommendation (academic)
4. Writing Samples (if necessary for department)
