"Raft Island Steloe" by Barbara Lee Smith |
Rich in variations of surface, texture, and color, Through the Needle's Eye affirms our textile tradition and moves fiber into mainstream art. It is through the needle'e eye that we embrace both tradition and contemporary needlework while expanding the perception of embroidery as an art form. The Peninsula Fine Arts Center serves as host to the Embroiders Guild of America's national juried exhibition which will then travel to other venues around the country.
